Privacy Policy

JobsKosova operates this platform and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We process personal data in line with Kosovo's Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Account data: your email address, a securely hashed password, your role (worker or employer), your preferred language and when you accepted our terms.

Worker profile data: your name, date of birth, nationality, work experience, skills, languages and anything else you choose to add, as well as the documents you upload — for example your CV, passport, certificates, a video CV and relocation documents.

Employer data: company name, registration details, contact person, job posts and the documents needed for work permits.

Transaction data: the plans and services you order and the status of payments. Card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach our servers.

Communication data: messages you send to our team, appointment requests and the notes our team keeps about your application.

Technical data: the cookies described below and basic server logs (such as IP address and time of request) used to keep the service secure.

We use your data to run your account; to review applications and match workers with employers; to prepare contracts, work permits, visa applications and other relocation steps you ask for; to deliver services you order; to process payments and issue invoices; to send you emails about your applications, tasks and orders; to answer your questions; and to keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.

We rely on performing our contract with you, on our legitimate interest in operating a safe service, on legal obligations (for example accounting and immigration rules) and, where required, on your consent — which you can withdraw at any time.

Until an admin links a worker with an employer, the employer only sees anonymised information such as skills, experience and languages. Your name, photo, contact details and documents are only shared with an employer after our team has confirmed the match. Employer identities are likewise hidden from workers until then.

We share personal data only when it is needed to provide the service: with the employer you've been matched with; with Kosovo authorities and embassies when you ask us to help with a work permit or visa; with our payment provider (Paysera) to process payments; with our email provider to deliver messages; and with partners such as travel agencies or insurers only when you order a service that requires them.

We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Your account data and uploaded documents are stored on our own servers. Access is limited to the members of our team who need it to do their work. When a partner outside Kosovo is involved (for example an embassy or a payment provider), we only share what is necessary and rely on appropriate safeguards.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep certain records by law — such as invoices and signed contracts — for the period the law requires.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with Kosovo's Information and Privacy Agency.

We only use cookies that are needed for the site to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a cookie that remembers your language. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Passwords are stored as secure hashes, connections are encrypted, sign-in attempts are rate-limited and files can only be opened by people who are allowed to see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

JobsKosova is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

We may update this policy as our services change. When we make significant changes we'll let you know by email or in your dashboard. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
